PRESS RELEASE

LACOSTE ANNOUNCES A CHANGE OF PARTNERSHIP FOR EYEWEAR IN 2011
Paris, September 1st, 2010

After a 5 year-long fruitful and productive cooperation, LACOSTE and Charmant announce today their decision to end their partnership for eyewear products. Charmant had become the worldwide licensee of LACOSTE S.A. in 2006 and had helped the brand significantly to improve the quality of its products thanks to an outstanding manufacturing knowhow, positioning LACOSTE among the highest standards of the market.

In January 2011, the LACOSTE eyewear licence will be taken over by Marchon Eyewear, Inc.

“We are grateful to Charmant for their help in building this business and for reinforcing the LACOSTE brand in the eyewear market. Now we are starting a new phase of the LACOSTE accessories’ development with Marchon Eyewear, Inc.”, says Christophe Chenut, CEO of LACOSTE S.A. “With Marchon’s great expertise in design and R&D, LACOSTE will accentuate the innovative and fashion attributes of its eyewear lines. Simultaneously, the Crocodile brand will strengthen the global distribution of its eyewear through Marchon’s worldwide network.”

Marchon Eyewear, Inc., will design, produce and sell the LACOSTE sunwear and optical collections under the control of LACOSTE S.A.. The new collections will debut in retail in January 2011 and will be presented at the LACOSTE Spring-Summer 2011 Fashion Show in September 2010.

This new collaboration aims at reinforcing the positioning of the brand into the fashion world while emphasizing on a strong women’s development. Both the sunwear and optical collections will be faithful to the LACOSTE’s design identity and the relaxed elegance associated with the brand’s lifestyle.

“LACOSTE is known for elegant easy-to-wear products which are functional and of high quality. We love their ability to develop pure, classic designs which enrich and enhance their unique European style. We look forward to translating and embracing these elements in the debut collection,” said Claudio Gottardi, Marchon President and CEO Marchon International. “LACOSTE will greatly complement our brand portfolio.”

The debut collection will include 48 suns and 35 optical styles. The collection will be sold at LACOSTE flagship locations worldwide, department stores, select stores and top optical stores worldwide.

Marchon Eyewear Signs Global Licensing Agreement with RealD
Marchon3D™ Provides Breakthrough 3D Premium Lens Technology

Melville, N.Y. and Los Angeles, July 13, 2010 - Marchon® Eyewear and RealD Inc., a leading provider of 3D technology for cinema, consumer electronics and professional applications, announced today that they have signed a global licensing agreement to use the RealD brand for sales of Marchon3D™ eyewear. Additionally, to provide consumers with the best in 3D eyewear technology and design, Marchon announced they have agreed to purchase the 3D assets from MicroVision Optical to launch its 3D company, Marchon3D. David Johnson will serve as President of Marchon3D.

Through the terms of the global licensing agreement, Marchon3D will distribute its RealD-compatible 3D glasses in cinemas, retail locations, e-commerce sites and through electronic equipment manufacturers worldwide. Marchon3D’s parent company, Marchon Eyewear, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of eyewear and sunwear, will market designer 3D eyewear and a prescription 3D lens directly to eyecare professionals. Marchon Eyewear currently distributes its products in over 100 countries, with regional headquarters in New York, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

“RealD is committed to providing moviegoers with a premium 3D viewing experience. Marchon3D has developed a new breed of 3D eyewear that raises the bar, allowing moviegoers to experience RealD 3D with glasses in a design and fit all their own,” said Joseph Peixoto, President of Worldwide Cinema at RealD. “We understand that just as movie selection is a reflection of personal taste, some RealD 3D fans want a choice of 3D eyewear that fits their personal style. Marchon3D has brought a new level of fashion to RealD-branded 3D glasses.”

Marchon3D eyewear features a portfolio of patent-pending circular polarized 3D lens technologies that stand apart from all other premium 3D lenses due to unique, curved lens designs. The lenses are inserted into premium-style frames that offer wearers superior fit, comfort and an outstanding 3D viewing experience. Additionally, the 3D eyewear provides top performance not only in RealD-enabled theaters, but also with compatible passive-system 3D televisions, laptops and monitors. The company has the ability to make passive 3D eyewear for any specification, and is already working with leading cinema, TV, computer and electronics equipment manufacturers globally.  A key feature of the new eyewear is that the lenses also block 100 percent of UVA and UVB rays and can be used as sunglasses.

“Marchon3D has the ability to design and produce advanced eyewear with significant fashion enhancements that together produce the highest quality 3D viewing experience,” said Al Berg, Founder of Marchon Eyewear.

Claudio Gottardi, President of Marchon Eyewear, adds, “Marchon3D will focus on specific market segments while Marchon Eyewear will directly market the 3D technology to eyecare professionals around the world.”
